EXPRESS ENTRY

Express Entry is the application management system of three Economic Classes for skilled workers:

Federal Skill Worker    Canadian Experience Class     Federal Skilled Trades

Upon meeting the minimum requirements, your profile is accepted into the system’s pool of candidates. The system assesses your profile to give you points for each criteria. There are rounds of invitation drawn periodically to choose candidates of the highest scores in the pool to submit Permanent Resident application.

With the processing time is approximately 6-8 months, this is the fastest and most economical pathway to immigrate to Canada.

PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAMS

Provinces and territories in Canada choose candidates to nominate. These candidates have the skills, education and work experience to contribute to their economy. There are requirements of each provincial nominee streams that you must meet to be qualified.

This is a paper based process for a non-Express Entry stream and an online process via Express Entry system. A nominee can apply for Permanent Residence in Canada in subsequent step.

FAMILY SPONSORSHIP

You need to be at least 18 and be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada to sponsor your family:

  • Your spouse, partner or dependent children
  • Your parents, grandparents
  • Your relatives
  • Your adopted child

BUSINESS IMMIGRATION

Applicants with business background, experience and funds to invest can look into the pathways of business immigration ranging from federal to provincial programs.

Start-Up Visa is a federal immigration program with many advantages:

  • No age limit
  • Low language proficiency requirement
  • Shortest process time among other business immigration program
  • Option to choose any province in Canada to reside

SELF-EMPLOYED PERSON

This program is for those candidates with self-employed experience in cultural activities and sport such as music teachers, painters, illustrators, film makers, authors, writers, journalists, interpreters, musicians, dancers, comedians, craft persons… Beyond that, the category is intended to capture those people who work behind the scenes, for example, choreographers, creative designers, coaches and trainers. Management experience in the world of arts and culture may also be a viable measure of self-employment; for example, theatrical or musical directors and impresarios.
