CANADIAN CITIZENSHIP

This is the ultimate step in your Canada immigration journey. You are eligible to apply for Canadian citizenship upon meeting the requirements:

  • be a permanent resident
  • have lived in Canada for at least 3 out of the last 5 years (1,095 days)
  • prove your language skills in English or French
  • pass a citizenship test

CANADIAN PR CARD

You may need to apply for a permanent resident card if your current card is going to expire or you lost it. Processing time to renew or replace this document is 6-8 months.

PERMANENT RESIDENT TRAVEL DOCUMENT

This document allows you to travel back to Canada while your permanent resident card has expired or been lost. You must prove that you meet the residency obligation.

LABOUR MARKET ASSESSMENT IMPACT

Canadian employers who are unable to hire Canadian citizens or permanent residents, submit an application for Labour Market Assessment Impact (LMIA). Upon receiving a positive LMIA, they will be able to offer the job to a temporary foreign worker (TFW). The TWF with the job offer can apply for a work permit which authorizes him or her to work in Canada.
